Standard Software on YSU Owned Apple Computers

What software is installed on all campus computers for Mac OS X? 

Answer

The following software is installed on all YSU owned Apple computers as part of the initial configuration. The only exceptions are research computers which are not configured by IT Customer Services. 

  • Mozilla Firefox ESR
  • Google Chrome
  • VLC Player
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
  • Filezilla FTP
  • Java Runtime Environment (latest version)
  • Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019
  • Symantec Management Agent / JAMF Management Agent
