How to change Webex conference settings
Answer
Go to the Webex software, that is located on any YSU device here on campus or download the app onto your personal device.
Sign in using your YSU credentials. (Same login as your penguin portal).

Go to the bottom left corner and click on the gear icon to open settings.

Audio
Locate the audio tab and click it.
Ringers and Alerts
The test button allows the user to experiment the sound level and listen to the changes made. The user can also change their device by clicking on "All devices" in the black box and click on your preference.
Speaker
Clicking the green box, you can change which device output you want as your speakers.
Microphone
The microphone will automatically connect to the device's built-in microphone. If the user's device does not have a built-in microphone, they must use a USB microphone that can connected to their device. To find and connect the microphone, click on the blue box and find the microphone’s name.
Once done changing your audio settings press the save button.
Video

In the camera tab you can change your camera by either selecting the built-in camera or using a USB camera connected to your device.

Video Enhancement
The user can correct the lighting as the camera will change the lighting either making the room look bright or dimming down. Also allowing the video to change the brightness, contrast, and saturation on its own.
- Self-view on meetings shows your own view of your video during a meeting. It lets you see the same view of yourself that others see.
- Show with others—If you want to feel included with the other participants in the meeting, show your self-view with the videos of other participants. This is the default choice.
- Show in floating window—To make more room on your screen to see other people or the shared content, show your self-view in a floating window.
Hide—If you prefer not to look at yourself, hide your self-view, but other viewers will still see you.
Recording Layout
To change the layout in a meeting, open a personal meeting and click on the record button.
Click on "Change Layout".

This will open a new menu of different layouts the user can choose from.

After picking out your preferences hit the save button to save settings.
