Webex Classroom: Present from the Webex Education Connector in Blackboard

Question

How can I connect to the Webex Classroom with the Webex Education Connector in Blackboard Learn or Ultra?

Answer

The Webex Education Connector allows faculty to integrate Webex into their Blackboard Learn or Ultra course shell to schedule class hybrid or synchronous online meetings. Students may join class virtually using a link in Blackboard. Course recordings are linked back into the course shell.

  1. Open your Webex Education Connector to Start a scheduled meeting or click New Meeting.

  1. Click Connect to video system.

  1. Search for or call a video calling system

Search for or call a video system

  1. Enter the name shown on the Webex touch panel in your classroom.

Enter the class nickname in the search box to select a device. This name appears on the touch panel.

  1. Begin presentation by clicking Share in the Webex app.  Record your hybrid course by clicking Record on the toolbar.

Share using the videoconference tool or start a recording.
