Request Additional Print Pages

Introduction

Every student, faculty, and staff member is given 500 print pages on the first day of each semester of which they are actively employed or enrolled in classes at YSU (Fall, Spring, Summer). Should you require an increase of your available print pages, please follow these instructions:

How to Request Additional Pages

  1. Complete the User Application for Additional Print Pages form which can be obtained from this article or from a lab assistant in most open computer labs.
  2. Return the completed application form to the Dean's office of your college.
  3. The Dean of your college (or designee) will then approve or deny your request.
  4. If your request is approved, the Dean’s office will submit your request to the Tech Desk for processing.
  5. You will be notified via e-mail once your print limit increase has been completed 

Dean's Office: How to Request Additional Pages

  1. Enter the Technology Support Portal.
  2. Under Services please select Printer: Request Additional Pages.
  3. Click Request Service (typically located on the right side of the page).
  4. Sign in with your YSU Login ID and password if prompted.
  5. You will be prompted to complete the following information:
    • Individual Requesting Additional Pages:  Enter the username or banner ID of the student, faculty, or staff member requesting additional print pages
    • Additional Pages Granted:  Enter the number of additional pages that were approved.
    • Reason for Additional Page Request (optional):  Enter the reason for the additional page request.
    • Attachment (optional):  Attach the User Application for Additional Printing Pages form here. 
  6. Click Request to submit this request. 
  7. The individual will then be notified via e-mail once the print limit increase has been completed.
