Non-Standard Printer Request for Toner:

Please use the "Request Service" button located on this page to submit a request for toner for printers that are not contracted through our enterprise wide agreement with ComDoc. In other words, printers that are not Xerox.

Financial approval is required. An order via eCube will be placed by IT upon approval. The requesting department will receive a charge back for the cost.


In response to the recommendations from the Governor’s Task Force on Affordability & Efficiency in Higher Education, YSU has performed an in-depth analysis of printing on campus, which identified substantial opportunities for cost savings. As a result, we are pleased to announce an improved print management plan that will optimize print devices, reduce printers and print volume (especially color), drive printing to lower cost devices and provide a central store that eliminates the costly stockpiling of toner. Pursuant to these cost effective and green goals, effective July 1, 2016: IT Customer Services will be responsible for the acquisition and distribution of all toner for YSU-owned printers. Toner purchases are blocked in eCube.
