SPSS: Check Out a License for Off Campus Use

How do I check out a license for IBM SPSS?

Answer

You must be connected to the YSU network to check out a license and utilize SPSS. If you are not on campus, connect to the VPN using Cisco AnyConnect.

  1. Go to the start menu and click IBM SPSS Statistics to expand it.

    • Click on IBM SPSS Statistics Commuter License

  2. The Commuter Utility will open. Click IBM SPSS Statistics (1200) 26.0 to highlight this version. Choose the Duration Days at the bottom, and click Check-Out.

  3. You will then see a red check mark next to version 26. Click Exit.

  4. You can now launch SPSS Statistics.
