Airtame Digital Signage: Add Content Using Microsoft OneDrive Gallery

Question

How can I use Microsoft OneDrive to add and remove content from my Airtame digital signage?

Answer

Notes

  • File types must be JPEG or PNG.
  • This article covers OneDrive and Airtame configuration.
  • You do not need to reupload the OneDrive folder to Airtame every time you make a change, it updates live as you add content to the folder.
  • You can use this in place of a PowerPoint or Google Slideshow, remove that content from your playlist after uploading your OneDrive slideshow.

PowerPoint

  • If you need to convert your existing PowerPoint file to JPEG or PNG please follow these steps, skip to OneDrive section if not.
  • Open your PowerPoint file
  • Select "File" then select "Export".

PowerPoint File option circled

  • Select "Change File Type" then select "PNG" or "JPEG", whichever you prefer.

PowerPoint menu with Export option circled, to the right the Change File Type is circled, to the right of that the Image File Types and Save As options are circled.

  • Choose the folder you want to save the files to.
  • Select "All Slides" if you want the entire PowerPoint converted, or "Just This One" to convert only the active slide.
  • You will use these files to upload to OneDrive.
