Microsoft Teams: Add Bookings to Teams


Can Bookings be seen in the Microsoft Team app?


Users can view Bookings in the Microsoft Teams by installing the Bookings application in Teams.

To view Bookings in Microsoft Teams:

  1. Open Microsoft Teams.
  2. Click the ellipses in the left navigation panel. A pop-up window with app widgets should appear.
  3. Click the Bookings widget. If it is not visible, search "Bookings" in the search bar.

  1. A pop-up window with information about the Bookings app will appear. Click Add. Bookings should now appear in the left navigation panel.

  1. To pin the Bookings app to the left navigation panel, right click Bookings.
  2. In the pop-up menu, click Pin.

  1. Add the Bookings calendar. The calendar can be new or existing.
    1. To create a new Bookings calendar:
      1. Click New booking calendar.
      2. Name the Bookings calendar.
      3. Select a business type in the drop down.
      4. Optional:
        1. Enter an email to send responses to. This could be a shared mailbox for the department or a YSU user email.
        2. Enter a Business pone number.
      5. Click Save.

  1. To view an existing Bookings calendar:
    1. Click Existing booking calendar.
    2. Enter the calendar's name. Press Enter to search for the Bookings calendar. 
    3. Select the correct calendar.
    4. Click Done.
