Q. What is Pearson MyLab and Mastering?
A. Pearson MyLab and Mastering is a digital learning platform providing content, online assignments, gradebook sync and other customizations which integrate in Blackboard.
Q. What courses can integrate with MyLab and Mastering?
A. All YSU Blackboard courses are able to integrate with Pearson MyLab and Mastering. You can browse through a list of disciplines by clicking the link and Browse by Discipline in the upper right of the page.
Q. As an instructor, how do I setup MyLab and Mastering in my course?
A. One of the first steps is to work with a Pearson sales representative to go over the courses available and purchase materials. Contact a sales representative through the link by entering Youngstown State University and other information.
Once purchased and the materials are ready for use, they will need to be linked to Blackboard through Pearson by adding the Partner Cloud Placement in your Blackboard course. The Get Started with MyLab and Mastering Support Page will walk you through general information for the different integrations and provide step by step instructions for setup. YSU Blackboard administrators have already configured our Blackboard Production instance with the Pearson MyLab and Mastering Partner Cloud tools.

A. https://status.pearson.com provides information regarding any scheduled or unscheduled outages with Pearson products and their integrations.
Q. What steps should be taken to report or fix an issue with MyLab and Mastering?
A. The Pearson Higher Education Help and Support Page provides support for Students, Instructors and Bookstore Representatives through a list of menus. For any issues that aren't listed, click Contact Us and fill in the prompts.
