How do I install and use Microsoft Teams?

Answer

Installing Microsoft Teams:

  1. Go to your Office365 email. Access it from the Penguin Portal here.

  2. Click the 9 dots icon in top-left corner of your screen and click Teams. From here, you can use the Microsoft Teams web version or download the app.  

  3. To download the app, click the download button in the bottom-left corner of the screen. 

    • Once it's installed, you'll be asked to log in. Use your YSU email and password.

  4. After installation, Windows users will see the Teams icon in their tool bar.  Mac users will see Teams in Applications.

  5. Any groups/contacts from Skype will be carried over to Teams.
