Question
How do I present wirelessly using Airtame, Airtame Touch, or Airtame Auditorium?
Answer
Airtame is a cross-platform device that allows users to connect wirelessly from your own device to a projector or screen. The user can display their screen, documents, applications, and presentations. Connecting wirelessly allows instructors the freedom to interact, engage, and collaborate with students anywhere in the classroom, and it allows for collaboration and sharing from the students and their own devices.
NOTE: If you are using the instructor station computer in a classroom, it is not necessary to project using Airtame. The computer will automatically connect to the projector when both devices are powered on.
Connecting to Airtame Using a Projection System
- Turn on the Projection System in the classroom via the Extron panel or the Crestron panel in the instructor station.
- Select Wireless, Stream, or Video.
NOTE: If a touch panel (shown below) is not present on the lectern, turn on the projecter and sign into the desktop computer.

- Connect your device to the same WI-Fi as Airtame device (this will be listed on the screen).

- Navigate to airtame.com/download to download the app.
- Install the app.
- If it tells you that you need administrative rights to install the application on your windows device, select Get windows for guests.

- Enter the device name or type in the IP address.

- Select Share Window or Share Screen from the Airtame application.
- Airtame allows you to stream only one selected application, which is one window of your computer.

- Enter the pin code displayed on the screen.

- Click on the speaker to enable audio.
- Begin presenting.
Note: The notification bar can be moved around the screen or minimized by clicking on the corresponding image in the top-right corner. You can enable or disable it by going to the app settings.
Note: Tablets that are running Windows RT such as the Surface tablet will not work with Airtame. Surface Pros that run full window operating systems will work with Airtame.
