What causes the "You do not have permission to access this application" error when signing into the Technology Support Portal?
Answer
The client must be a current YSU student, faculty or staff member in order to have access to the Technology Support Portal.
This error is typically caused by a change to the client's email address in our directory system. The client could have requested an official name change, or their affiliation with YSU may have changed from student to employee (or vice versa).
Contact the IT Service Desk to have a YSU TeamDynamix administrator correct the problem.
