Account: Change Current Penguin Portal Account Password

How do I change my Penguin Portal account password?

Follow the steps below to change Penguin Portal account password.  You should refer to the How Do I Reset an Expired or Forgotten Penguin Portal Account Password article if you forgot your current password or if your password has already expired.

1. Navigate to the YSU Password Self-Service Options site by clicking HERE.
2. Select Change Your Current Password within the list.
3. Enter your YSU Login ID into the User Name box.
   Note: This is the first portion of your YSU email address before the @ symbol (e.g. username@student.ysu.edu or username@ysu.edu).
4. ​​Enter your current password into the Password box.
5. Click Sign in.
6. Enter your desired password into the New Password and Confirm Password fields then click Change Password.
   Note:  Be sure to follow all password requirements at the top of the page or the new password will not be accepted.
7. Wait for the password change to complete and click Continue.
8. Close your browser tab or window upon receiving the You are now logged out message.
9. Your password has been changed successfully and you should now be able to sign into your account.
