Question
How can I enable email notifications (response receipts) on my form?
Answer
Microsoft Forms allows for email notifications, known as response receipts, upon completion of a form. You can enable receipts for the individual filling out your form so that receive confirmation of their responses. This helpful in situations of balloting, registration, digital paperwork, etc. You can also elect to receive email notifications when someone completes your form. This will help you to keep track and retain records of submission.
To enable response receipts, take the following steps:
1. Create a new form or open an existing form.
2. At the top right, click on the ellipses (3 dots), and select Settings.
3. Using the right side scroll bar, scroll down to Response receipts.
To generate a response receipt to the individual filling out the form, place a check in the first box next to Allow receipt of responses after submission. If you wish to receive an email notification upon completion of the form, place a check in the second box next to Get email notification of each response.
