Overview:
To effectively work with and transfer files while working in the YSU App Cloud, OneDrive is a great resource to keep track of all necessary project/class files for submission and sharing across devices. Each student, faculty and staff member account is assigned 1 TB of storage space on OneDrive, granting ample space for project files, homework, and documentation for access on multiple devices.
However, working with OneDrive can have a tough learning curve. To assist, we have prepared the following instructions to better prepare students, faculty, and others so that OneDrive can be strategically leveraged to lessen time spent searching for files to share and submit for classes and more.
When working with files in the App Cloud, we recommend that you always manually save project/class files in your YSU OneDrive so that they are accessible on any device you use and are not lost.
If you save files to any physical lab machine and/or virtual desktop, they may be lost and non-recoverable!
