Question
How can you extract data from your department Bookings calendar?
Answer
Bookings collects data in a 120-day range to enable basic reporting on services provided in a business calendar. History beyond 120 days is not retained; therefore, extract your data on a schedule to maintain a historical reference of Booking events scheduled.
- Access your Bookings page from your Office 356 app launcher.
- Click the calendar option from the navigation menu.

- Click Export to produce an Excel spreadsheet of recently scheduled events.

- Select the range of dates within 120 days from the date of your report.

- Click the Export button to download the file for the range selected.
- Open Excel then open the downloaded file named "BookingsReportingData".
NOTE: The downloaded file is of type TSV. Use Excel to delimit the fields, by the Text to Columns function, into a readable format.
All appointment types in the Bookings calendar within the selected date range will list in the file.
- Filter the Excel spreadsheet to view the services being analysed. It may be necessary to further delimit the fields which contain custom questions and answers.
