A. Linkedin Learning provides video courses taught by industry experts in software, creative, and business skills. It is a subsidiary of LinkedIn. All the courses on LinkedIn fall into four categories: Business, Creative, Technology and Certifications
Q. What courses can integrate with Linkedin Learning?
A. All YSU Blackboard courses are able to integrate Linkedin Learning content.
Q. As an instructor, how do I setup Linkedin Learning in my Ultra course?
- From within a Blackboard Ultra course click + then select Content Market.
- Click LinkedIn Learning LTI 1.3.
- Search for the content you would like to add to your course using the search box. Once you have identified the LinkedIn Learning course(s) you’d like to add to Blackboard, click Add for each video then Confirm.
- Once Confirmed, the new Module will show up on the main Content page.
Q. Is there a status webpage to check if Linkedin Learning is experiencing issues?
A. There is no status page currently available for Linkedin Learning.
Q. What steps should be taken to report or fix an issue with Linkedin Learning?
A. Linkedin Learning has Linkedin Help to find answers for most common questions.

Q. I need to watch Linkedin Learning videos in my Blackboard Course but it only shows a white screen?
Make sure your browser is supported and up to date. List of Supported Browsers in Blackboard.
You may need to allow cross-site tracking in your browser so your login information is able to pass to LinkedIn Learning.
Firefox
- Go to https://ysu.blackboard.com then click on the shield on the left side of the address bar and turn off the slider for "Enhance Tracking Protection". By default this is ON and needs switched to OFF in order for Linkedin Learning to load inside of Blackboard.
Safari
- Open Safari App then click Safari from the menu bar and choose Settings...
- Click the Privacy Tab at the top then Uncheck Prevent cross-site tracking. This will allow your information to send from Blackboard to Linkedin Learning.
