Q. What is FlatWorld Knowledge?

A. FlatWorld Textbook is a digital textbook and educational resource publisher. The textbook includes a full range of instructor supplements, including PowerPoints slides and test banks. The platform also allows the instructor to add, remove, and restructure content.

FlatWorld Homework is a web-based application that enables instructors to create auto-gradable homework assignments by selecting questions from a pool written specifically for your textbook. FlatWorld Homework is included at no additional cost with FlatWorld Textbook purchase.

Q. What courses can integrate with FlatWorld Knowledge?

A. All YSU Blackboard courses, Original and Ultra, are able to use FlatWorld Homework and FlatWorld Textbooks.

Q. As an instructor, how do I setup FlatWorld Knowledge in my course?

A. First, browse the list of titles to adopt a textbook. After adopting a FlatWorld textbook, you will need to create an account.

Q. Is there a status webpage to check if FlatWorld Knowledge is experiencing issues?

A. There is no status page available for FlatWorld Knowledge.

Q. What steps should be taken to report or fix an issue with FlatWorld Knowledge?

A. FlatWorld has a searchable Support Center that provides many answers to the most common questions.

Live chat, phone (877-257-9243), and email assistance are available Monday-Friday 9AM-8PM Eastern Time. Live chat can be accessed by clicking the icon in the lower right corner of any FlatWorld page.
