How do I access the Chartwells Catertrax Punchout in eCube to place an order for my event or meeting?
Answer
Chartwells Catertrax Punchout allows you to place catering orders for events and meetings via eCube. Currently users have been experiencing some issues in accessing Chartwells via eCube and the following steps provide a work around while the vendors are working on a resolution. Use only the following browsers: Firefox, Internet Explorer, or if on a Mac, Safari to complete your order in eCube. You will need to allow pop-ups for Catertrax in order to proceed. The instructions below provide step by step actions to enable the pop-ups for each browser.
Mozilla Firefox
1. Navigate to eCube via the Penguin Portal
2. Select Chartwells Catertrax under Catering Services for Campus Events.
3. View the message "This Punchout will open in a new window!"
4. Click the option button in the yellow warning bar.
5. Select "Allow pop-ups for ysu.catertrax.com.
6. Proceed with order in the new window.
Internet Explorer
1. Navigate to eCube via the Penguin Portal
2. Select Chartwells Catertrax under Catering Services for Campus Events.
3. View the message "This Punchout will open in a new window!"
4. Scroll to the bottom of the window and new "Internet Explorer blocked a pop-up window from solutions.sciquest.com".
5. Select "Options for this site".
6. Click "Always Allow"
7. Proceed with Catertrax order in the new window.
Safari
Safari for macOS has no per-website control over blocking pop-up windows. Pop-ups are either blocked, or they are not. To allow pop-ups:
- From the Safari menu, choose Preferences... and click the Websites tab.
- Select Pop-ups in the left column at the bottom of the page.
- Click the drop down next to "When visiting other Websites" and change to allow.
- To block pop-ups once again, change to "Block and Notify"
