How do I request and schedule a CenturyLink conference call?
Answer
To set up a CenturyLink conference call, please contact the IT Service Desk at 330-941-1595. They will schedule your conference call and provide you with a Moderator and Participant password.
The IT Service Desk will need the following information to schedule a conference call:
- The date and time of your conference call
- If you require a conference calling unit
- If you do require a conference calling unit, the Service Desk will need to know the room/building location where you want to have the conference calling unit set up. Note: There is a $25 fee to use the conference calling unit.
Once you have scheduled your conference call, follow the steps below to begin your conference call:

Dial the toll or toll free number.

Enter the Moderator Passcode followed by the pound (#) key. Do not enter the Participant Passcode. Note: The 4-digit PIN is no longer necessary.

Only provide participants with the Participant Passcode. Do not publish your Moderator Passcode as this is your security code to open the conference.

Participants will dial the toll or toll free number and enter the Participant Passcode followed by the pound (#) key.
Conference Controls:
Press *0 to reach an operator
Press *1 to hear a help menu
Press *6 to mute or un-mute line
Press *4 to increase conference volume
Press *7 to decrease conference volume
Press *5 to increase your voice volume
Press *8 to decrease your voice volume
If you need assistance accessing your conference, call customer care at 800-485-0844 and press option 2.
