   How do you locate the Blackboard course ID and add Blackboard assignment data to your Course Leaf SYL syllabus?

This guide explains how to locate your Blackboard Course ID and integrate assignment information from a Blackboard course into a Course Leaf SYL syllabus

To Locate the Blackboard course ID:

1. Log into Blackboard and select the course that contains the assignments you want to add to your Course Leaf SYL syllabus.

          2. In the selected Blackboard course, verify that the assignments, tests, discussions, journals, or other required activities have been created. While
              still in the Blackboard course, click the URL/address bar at the top of your browser window and locate the course ID near the end of the URL.

          3. Copy the course ID. The course ID is made up of numbers and underscores.
              Copy only the numbers and underscores between the forward slashes, do not include any forward slashes (/). 
              In the example below the course ID you are copying would be _125941_1

             Add the Blackboard Course ID to CourseLeaf SYL 

             1. With the course code copied, log into your syllabus inside the Course Leaf SYL syllabus repository and create your syllabus, if needed. For
                access instructions, refer to the following article: Article - Course Leaf SYL: How to Create a Syllabus.

            2. Once inside your syllabus,
                1. Select the “Edit Page Button” to enter editing mode
                2. Paste the Blackboard Course ID copied from Blackboard into the “Blackboard ID” field
                3. Select the floppy disk icon next to the Blackboard ID box to Synchronize the data from the Blackboard course.

 3. Once the synchronization is complete, the assignment data will appear in the Assignments and Assessments and Schedule of Topics sections
     of the syllabus. Review both sections carefully to make sure all information is accurate and complete.

 What Assessment Data is Pulled from Blackboard?
 When Blackboard assessment data is synchronized with Course Leaf SYL, the information appears in the following sections of the syllabus.

 Assignments/Assessments section
 The following data appears in the Assignments/Assessments section:
 Title of Assignment
 Assignment Type
 Point Value

 Schedule of Topics Section
 The following data appears in the "Due/To Prepare for Class Column of the Schedule of Topics:
 Due Date and Time
 Name of assignment
