Question
Where are the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Labs located?
Answer
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) labs enable you to bring your own computing device to charge, work and print while on campus. If you are scheduled for a class in a BYOD lab you are required to bring a device.
The labs that have been converted to BYOD have been been supplemented with power supplies that include USB ports to allow students to plug in and charge their devices. Additionally, the YSU_Wifi has been enhanced to accommodate a BYOD environment. At the discretion of the department, some locations will have monitors for students to connect to with their own device.
NOTE: Not all computer labs will be converted to BYOD. Some physical computer labs will remain on campus.
