How do I turn on Webex Live Closed Captioning?

YSU Webex Closed Captioning

Live Closed Captioning is available for YSU Webex Meetings using the Webex Virtual Assistant. 

When the host/cohost starts the meeting, turn on the Webex Assistant in the lower left corner of the meeting window and participants will be able to turn on the closed captioning.

Mac and Windows Users
IOS and Android Users

Windows and Mac Users

1. Join the meeting.
2. Click the Closed Caption icon in the lower left corner of the meeting window.
   1. Note:  Individual participants can turn live closed captioning on or off.

IOS and Android Users

1. Tap the three ellipses Icon

        2. Tap the  Advanced tab  to locate closed caption

3.Toggle the captions on, you can also choose another language or keep it as the default language, English.
