Answer

Clearing History and Cookies in Chrome

  1. Close all tabs and log out of Chrome.
  2. Open a new Chrome window.
  3. Click the 3 dots icon at the top right corner of your Chrome page. This will open a pop-up menu.
  4. Hover over History, and then click History in the menu that appears. This will open a window titled “History.”
  5. Click Clear browsing data. This will open a window titled "Clear browsing data."
  6. Confirm you are on the Advanced Tab.  Set Time range to 'All Time'.  Check Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files, and Site Settings are all checked.
  7. Click Clear data to clear your history and cookies.

                8. Once cleared, close the Chrome browser window and reopen.

 

Clearing History and Cookies in Firefox

  1. Close all tabs and log out of Firefox.
  2. Open a new Firefox window.
  3. Click the 3 horizontal lines icon in the top right corner of your Firefox window.
  4. Click Options. This will open a window titled "Options."
  5. Click Privacy & Security on the left side of the screen.
  6. Under History on the Privacy & Security page, click the Clear History button. This will open a pop-up window titled "Clear All History."
    1. Set the time range to clear to Everything.
    2. Check all 7 boxes under Details.
    3. Click Clear Now.
  7. Under Cookies and Site Data on the Privacy & Security page, click the Clear Data button. This will open a pop-up window titled "Clear Data."
    1. Check the boxes for Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content.
    2. Click Clear.
    3. A confirmation window will appear. Click Clear Now.
  8. Once cleared, close the Firefox browser and reopen.
