How do I clear my browser history and cookies in Chrome and Firefox?

Clearing History and Cookies in Chrome
- Close all tabs and log out of Chrome.
- Open a new Chrome window.
- Click the 3 dots icon at the top right corner of your Chrome page. This will open a pop-up menu.
- Hover over History, and then click History in the menu that appears. This will open a window titled “History.”
- Click Clear browsing data. This will open a window titled "Clear browsing data."
- Confirm you are on the Advanced Tab. Set Time range to 'All Time'. Check Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files, and Site Settings are all checked.
- Click Clear data to clear your history and cookies.
8. Once cleared, close the Chrome browser window and reopen.
Clearing History and Cookies in Firefox
- Close all tabs and log out of Firefox.
- Open a new Firefox window.
- Click the 3 horizontal lines icon in the top right corner of your Firefox window.
- Click Options. This will open a window titled "Options."
- Click Privacy & Security on the left side of the screen.
- Under History on the Privacy & Security page, click the Clear History button. This will open a pop-up window titled "Clear All History."
- Set the time range to clear to Everything.
- Check all 7 boxes under Details.
- Click Clear Now.
- Under Cookies and Site Data on the Privacy & Security page, click the Clear Data button. This will open a pop-up window titled "Clear Data."
- Check the boxes for Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content.
- Click Clear.
- A confirmation window will appear. Click Clear Now.
- Once cleared, close the Firefox browser and reopen.
