How do I access the YSU App Cloud by Apporto?
Answer
You can access Apporto using any web browser of your choice. Take the following steps to access Apporto:
1. Navigate to ysu.apporto.com. Click Log in to sign in with your YSU account. If prompted for log in credentials, enter your full @ysu.edu email address and password. If you are on campus and using a YSU computer, this process may automatically occur.
2. Once you are logged into Apporto, you will see the virtual computer listed. Click Launch to enter the virtual desktop environment.
3. After clicking launch, the system will begin building your profile. You will see the Starting Server message. As indicated in the message, this can take a few moments.
When you first log in, the system will offer you a 60 second tutorial. We recommend taking the time to go through this tutorial to help you get acclimated with the system.
4. You have now successfully logged into the Apporto environment. Access the applications on the desktop and interact with some of the features including using full screen mode, usage of a second monitor, upload/download functions, volume settings, screen sharing, and more.
