Question

What University supported tools are available for video editing or trimming?

Answer

YSU offers access to Adobe Premiere Rush for video editing.  Detailed editing may be performed on audio and video using Adobe Premiere Rush.

Video capture and editing is available in Vidcast.  Record, trim, clip, and/or stitch multiple videos together.  Add interactions on the time line and share content in one application.

Contact the IT Service Desk at (330)941-1595 for assistance with downloading Adobe Premiere Rush.

Trimming is a video editing process used to remove the beginning and/or end of a recording.  Trimming does not allow for detailed editing.  Recording made in Webex, Stream, or Microsoft Teams may be trimmed within the respective apps.

Microsoft Stream, Teams, and Cisco Webex applications are standard on YSU owned devices.
