Question
Submitting Final Blackboard Grades to Banner
Answer
Submitting Final Grades to Banner
You must be the Primary instructor in Banner to complete this process. If you have not configured your overall grade in Blackboard, first visit Setting up Your Gradebook (Points) or Setting up Your Gradebook (Weighted Categories).
- Log in to Blackboard.
- Select Courses from the left navigation menu.
- Select the desired course from the list.
The course page opens.
- From the Details & Actions panel, click Books & Tools.
The Books & Course Tools panel opens.
- Select Submit Grades to Banner.
The screen displays all students in your course. Review the letter grade for each student in the Final Grade column. This is populated from the Overall Grade/Current Grade column in your gradebook.
NOTE: If you did not calculate your final grade in Blackboard, the Final Grade column will be empty. You can manually enter the final grade here.
- Verify all grades are accurate. Make changes as needed.
IMPORTANT: This will not change the grade in the Blackboard gradebook.
- Click Submit.
Grades will be sent from Blackboard to Banner.
IMPORTANT: Avoid making any grade changes directly in Banner. All grade changes should be made in Blackboard and then resubmitted through this process.
