How do you update your profile picture in Blackboard?

Using a profile pictures in Blackboard helps establish connections in the classroom. Read our instructions or watch a short video for assistance uploading a profile picture in Blackboard.
Update Your Profile Picture
- Sign into Blackboard.
- Click your name in the navigation menu on the left to go to the Profile Page.
- Click the pencil
near your photo or avatar located at the top of the Profile Page.
- In the Change Profile Picture dialog box, click the trash can
to remove the old photo, if one is present.
- Click Upload new profile picture to search your files for a preferred photo.
