How do I install the free version of Microsoft Office Suite provided by YSU on my personal device using Outlook?
Answer
New students will gain access to Microsoft Office 365 within one week of the start of the semester.
New Outlook Instructions
- Log in to your YSU Office 365 email.
- Click on your name, which is typically located at the top right of the Office 365 landing page.

- Click on My Account.

- Click on Install Office.

- Open either Word or Excel. When prompted for activation, provide your full YSU email (username@student.ysu.edu).
- You'll then be redirected to a YSU portal login with your username/password to complete the activation.
